Maintain Cost Element Group in Chart of Accounts
In this section you determine which groups are to be used in the standard report request screen. Cost element groups included in the selection of permitted groups can be chosen by using the menu path Extras -> Choose cost elements -> Cost element groups.
Preconditions
You must create at least one suitable cost
element group in the step 
"Maintain cost element group".
Default settings
The standard SAP System includes the default cost element groups
- 1-S-KSTAR-AL
All cost elements
- OAS-INT
Total (cost elements in international chart of accounts)
Activities
1. Check
whether the standard SAP cost element groups satisfy your
requirements.
If necessary, choose the New entries function and add a new cost element group.
