Overview Variants for Header Lines

In this step you can create your own headers for overviews in the Information System.

Headers contain general information for an overview. They are used primarily to display the various grouping criteria.

Example

On the individual overview of all activities the following information is shown in the header: Network number, MRP controller, basic start date.

The overviews are created by a method called "variable lists".

For each overview you create, you also create an overview variant. You specify for the overview variant:

Overviews and overview variants are available in the standard system.

1. Create overview variants
This section describes how to create overview variants.
2. Specify objects
This section describes how to determine the individual objects you want to display in the overview.
3. Specify fields
This section describes how to select fields and determine the overview layout.

Once you have created your overview variants:

4. Save an overview variant in the overall profile for the structure/dates information system. This overview variant is a default value for overview headers in the information sytem. Define overall profile
5. You can transport your settings. To do this, choose Table view -> Transport.
