A batch input session is a group of transactions that are provided with user data via a program.

These transactions are saved as a lot in a batch input session. This session can then be run at a later time in the online system. Changes are made to the database when the session is run.

With this procedure, large amounts of data can be entered into the SAP System in a short period of time.
