Entering Scrap for Reporting Point 2
Use
In a previous process, you confirmed that 130 units made it to the first reporting point. Now you continue with production. You removed 10 units of R-1220 from inventory and put it in the assembly before noticing that the part is defective. You now have to scrap those 10 assembled units. Since R-1220 is defective, you will not use it to complete the production of your PC component. Instead, you replace R-1220 with R-1221, which is a similar part, but a bit more expensive.
