Displaying Product Cost Collectors 

Use

In this process, you display the product cost collector. If one does not exist, you have to create one.

Procedure

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:

    Logistics ® Production ® Repetitive Manufacturing ® Master Data ® Product Cost Collector ® Process Product Cost Collector.

  2. Enter the following data:

  3. Choose .

    4. The product cost collector is displayed on the left side of the screen.

  4. Open the structure for material C-1113.

    5. The system displays the production versions for the material. You can see that the level Material/Plant/Production version was selected as controlling level for the product cost collector for material C-1113.

  5. Select production version CPU-150 assembly production line 3.

    6. If this production version is not available, you have to create a product cost collector. Continue with step 6.

    The Data tab on the right side of the screen contains the organizational data, the control information for the calculation, the overhead clearing, the creation of work in process, and the determination of variances.

    If production version CPU-150 assembly production line 3 is not available, proceed with step 13.

  7. In the dialog box, enter the following data:

  8. Choose Copy.
  9. Choose the Header tab page.
  10. In the Short text field, enter CPU-150 assembly production line 3.
  11. Choose Save.
  12. In the dialog box, choose Yes.

    13. The system informs you that the order was created.

  13. Choose the Production process tab page.

    14. The product cost collector is assigned to the production version using the production process number.

  14. Make a note of the production process number.
  15. Remain on this screen.
