Specify default costing sheet for network

In this step, you assign the costing sheet to the valuation variant.

Requirements

You must have maintained the valuation variant and the costing sheet.

Further Notes

The costing sheet is stored, via the valuation variant, as a default value in the network type parameters. When you create a new network, the system defaults this costing sheet, which you can change in the application. To do this, go to the network header data and choose Goto -> Network header -> Extra.

The following scenarios are possible when you create a new activity:

• The activity is assigned to a WBS element -> the system defaults the costing sheet from that WBS in the activity

• The activity is assigned to a WBS element, but no costing sheet is defined in the WBS element -> the system defaults the costing sheet from the network header in the activity

• The activity is not assigned to a WBS element -> the system defaults the costing sheet from the network header in the activity

You can change the costing sheet as follows:

• Network header: choose Goto -> Network header -> Extra

• Activity: in the Control detail screen
