spool parameters for the user

Define spool parameters for users

You can enter user-specific spool parameters here.

Example

You reach the actual spool parameters to the entries by double-clicking on the corresponding line.

The following spool parameters have been predefined for Mr. Smith

Print List name Printer hold retention period at once
X LV01 LT99 X

If Mr. Smith prints work papers the list LV01 is always output immediately on printer LT99 without it being held in the spool.

If another user prints work papers the generic entry is used. The details screen then looks as follows:

Print List name Printer hold retention period at once
X LV03 LT98 X 2

That means that for all users, apart from Mr. Smith, the print order is first put in the spool. You then have 2 days (retention period) to print the orders. The work papers are output on the printer Lt98.
