Translate

You can translate the status profile and the statuses assigned to it into other languages.

If you want to create a translation, you must note the following:

User statuses can be created, changed and deleted only in their original maintenance language.

Unless all the user statuses within a status profile are translated, the SAP System displays them all in the original maintenance language.

To translate a status profile, proceed as follows:

1. From the "Change Status Profile: Overview" screen, choose
"Extras -> Profile translation".

2. You can call up a list of the foreign language ID codes using the possible entries function ("F4").

3. Select one using "F2".

4. Press "Enter".

5. Translate the name of your status profile into the foreign language.

6. Save your translation.

To translate user statuses, proceed as follows:

1. Place the cursor on the status profile.

2. Choose "Goto -> User status".

The system lists all user statuses in the profile.

3. Choose "Goto -> Status translation".

4. You can call up a list of the foreign language ID codes using "F4".

5. Select one using "F2".

6. Press "Enter".

7. Translate the key, the description and, if appropriate, the long text into the language you require.

8. Save your translation.
