Description of
the printing procedure
Procedure when
printing work papers
The following information must be available for
printing work papers:
- Which lists should be printed?
The system
checks
- which lists the user may
print in the given plant and for the given order type (for example, lists A,
B, C)
- which lists from the given
transaction may be printed (for example B, C, D)
Only the average
quantity of both checks is printed (in this case, lists B and C).
- Which printer should be used for
printing?
The system chooses
the appropriate printer according to the printer
specifications
- What layout should be used for printing the
lists?
For every list the
system checks
- the appropriate print version
(can vary per plant, transaction
- and production scheduler)
- which report should be used
(is unambiguously defined using the print version and list)
The combination of
report and layout set unambiguously defines
the layout of the list to be printed.
