Call type

Definition

Context in which a program is called up for controlling error messages in shipping processing.

When you make the settings for the required message category for an error message, the rerouting of the message category can depend on how the shipping processing programs are called up.

At the moment the system differentiates between the following ways of calling up the program.

Call up a dialog transaction, for example:

Create a delivery or

Change a delivery

Call up in the background, for example:

for delivery collective processing

in batch input or

as call transaction using or

from other applications (e.g.: WM: Confirm transfer order)

Replication of a delivery from another system

Update (picking quantity, packing data, goods issue posting) of a delivery from another system:
