Creating a Report 

Use

Once you have created the form, you can go ahead and define the report. Here you decide which levels you want to report on. You also have the option of specifying concrete values for the variables defined in the form, and can decide which value fields you want to see, if you have not already done so in the form.

Procedure

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:

  3. Enter the following data:

  5. Select Create.
  6. The variables displayed here are those defined in the form. You can now enter characteristic values for these variables.
  7. The characteristics you choose determine how the data should be broken down or summarized in the report. You can choose characteristics both in the form and in the report definition.

  8. On the Characteristics tab page in the Char. List area, select Sales Org., Division, Distr. Channel, and Product.
  9. Choose .
  10. The selected characteristics appear in the Selected characteristics area.

  11. Select Sort user-defined chars.
  12. Make sure that the characteristics appear in the order shown in step 7. If not, change the order.
  13. Choose .
  14. Position your cursor on the Sales. Org. field.
  15. Choose .
  16. Enter the following data:

  18. Choose .
  19. Choose the Variables tab page.
  20. This is where you enter the variables for the report. The variables from the form created earlier or from characteristic definition have been copied over and you can enter values for them.

  21. Enter the following data:

    Current period

    You can not select key figures in this report, since they are already defined in the form.

  23. Choose Extras ® Basic List... .
  24. In the dialog box, enter the following data:

  26. Choose .
  27. Choose the OutputType tab page, then select Classic Drilldown.
  28. Choose the Options tab page.
  29. In the Performance area, enter the following data:

  32. Choose until the overview tree appears.
