Production Resources and Tools

In the following steps, you configure management.

The SAP System has several categories of production resources and tools (PRT). The features and the business functions which a PRT can have are determined by the PRT category:

• Material PRT

• Document PRT

• Miscellaneous PRT (has its own master record)

Note

Various settings are only relevant for certain production resource/tool categories. If your company does not use all PRT categories, you do not have to maintain all settings.

• If the PRT should be a part of the availability check, you have to specify that in the section Project execution/integration -> availability check with step Define check control.
