Define Movement Types for Material Movements
In this step you can change movement types for goods movements in the Project System. Changes are only necessary, if you do not use the SAP standard settings.
Standard settings
In the standard system, movement types are preset for all transactions/events.
Recommendation
SAP recommends that you accept the settings defined in the standard system. In this case, no action is required on your part.

Attention
Movement types have important control functions. They play a large role in updating stock quantities and stock value. A change to some indicators (for example, quantity string, value string) is seen as a modification. Note that update error due to incorrect settings for a movement type are modification damage and cannot be corrected by the SAP Hotline
