Only basis for surcharges

Definition

Controls whether the data determined by the system from the selected source is used directly in the construction of dynamic items or whether only surcharges for the source data are used as the basis for dynamic items.

Use

If you do not set the indicator, the system determines the surcharges (for example, overhead costs) for the data from the selected source and uses the source data and surcharges as a basis for building dynamic items.

• If you set the indicator, the system uses the data determined from the source only as a basis for calculating surcharges. In other words, the system rejects the original costs read from the source, and uses only the surcharges for creating the dynamic items.
