Define and Assign Activity Profiles

The activity profile outlines possible activites to be executed in the shipment document when the shipment has reached a certain status. You can define a separate activity profile for each status.

Possible activities include:

Then, you define a selection variant, which may in turn be assigned to a shipment type. In this way, the shipment activities that are to be carried out are defined for the shipment type as soon as the corresponding status is set.

You can define that the system displays a dialog box as soon as the status is set. In this dialog box you can enter additional data. When registering a car for example, the system could display a dialog box in which you enter the license plate number and the name of the driver.

Example

For the shipment type individual shipments, you could define that goods issue for all shipment deliveries are to be posted as soon as the shipment is marked "processed".

Activities

Define a new activity profile as follows:

1. Move the cursor to the field shipment type and status for which you want to define an activity profile.
2. Enter a name for the profile and choose "maintain".
3. Mark the activities that are to be executed when the given status is set.
4. If you want the system to display a dialog box, set the indicator "Dialog box for fast entry during setting of status" and select the fields that you want to be displayed in the dialog box.
5. Save your profile.
