Settlement Rule for Work Breakdown Structure Element

In this activity, you make the system settings for the automatic generation of settlement rules to the WBS elements. During generation, the settlement rule, settlement profile, and results analysis key are automatically copied into the project master data.

Note the following re automatic generation:

• Characteristics are inherited as they are in Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

• Rules generated automatically stipulate period 100% settlement to one receiver

• Characteristics from a sales order are only included if the sales order item or sales order header is assigned to a billing element.

• The organizational units controlling area, company code, and profit center are copied from the WBS element to the settlement rule. The plant is copied from the sales order item.

• The settlement rule from superior objects can only be inherited if no settelement rule is maintained for the WBS elements lower down in the hierarchy.

• Settlement rules generated automatically are recorded under commercial transaction SRGN . You can use the user status to regulate changes to the settlement rule.
