In this step, you start program RFFMDL82 to delete the actual data (totals data, balances, line items) in PS Cash Budget Management. You delete the actual data for one FM area in each run.
Deletion may be time dependent
For selective deletion of line items, enter a fiscal year and a period up to and including which you want to delete the line items. For the totals data and balances , enter a fiscal year up to and including which you want to enter totals data and balances.
For technical reasons, the fiscal year for the totals data and balances must be earlier than the one for the line items.
Note: You should only use RFFMDL82 to delete some or all of the data in the test system.
Back up your data.
Start program RFFMDL82 per your specifications.
If you delete a selection of the actual data, the totals data and balance data for particular periods or fiscal years is still in the system, even though you have deleted the line items for that period. The information system will continue to display the totals data and balances, but not the relevant line items.
