Defining a User Exclusion ListLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You are assigned the authorization object S_RAL_BLKL (user exclusion list). This is included in the template roles SAP_BC_RAL_CONFIGURATOR and SAP_BC_RAL_ADMIN_BIZ.

Context

You can use the user exclusion list to exclude users from Read Access Logging. For example, this might be useful for technical users who run regular checks or background jobs. If scheduled runs like these are expected, it might not be necessary to log this activity.

Procedure

  1. In Read Access Logging manager (transaction code SRALMANAGER), choose User Exclusion List on the Administration tab.
  2. Choose Edit and then Add User.

    A new row is added in the table.

  3. Specify a user name.
  4. Save the user exclusion list.

Results

The user exclusion list has been updated. You can transport it across systems using the transport manager.
