Event Status
The status of an event showing whether an external scheduler or another application marked the event as read. The event status is displayed in event history (transaction SM62).
The possible values for the status and the their meaning are outlined in the table below:

Events are logged in the event history with status New
.
When an external scheduler has read the events in EH, it can change their status to Confirmed
. Changing the event status is optional, that is, an event in status New
can remain in this status even after information about it has been
polled.
External schedulers can use the event status to avoid reading the same entries in EH more than once. Changing the event status is available to external schedulers in the XBP API 3.0.
