Forecast Accuracy Improvements

You can improve the accuracy of the forecast in Demand Planning in the following ways:

ABC/XYZ analysis and classification

Outlier detection and event generation

- Detection of price change events

- Combination of univariate and MLR forecast models

Seasonality groups

You can use the forecast accuracy improvements if your user is assigned to one of the following roles:

DP Expert (SAP_SCM_FCS_PLN_EXP_2)
DP Administrator (SAP_SCM_FCS_PLN_ADM_2)
DP Planner (SAP_SCM_FCS_PLN_STD_2)
