You need to have SAP NetWeaver Business Client (NWBC) installed on your computer, or access to a Windows Terminal Server on which NWBC is installed.
NWBC supports Microsoft operating systems which are listed within the SAP PAM (Product Availability Matrix).
The hardware prerequisites for NWBC are the same as for the SAP GUI.
For more information, see SAP Service Marketplace at 26417 .and SAP Note
We recommend the same hardware requirements as for Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) applications. For more information, see http://windowsclient.net/.
We recommend at least 1 GB memory. The actual memory consumption depends on the number of windows open.
We recommend a minimum screen size of 1024x768, though your screen should preferably be larger.
SAP GUI 7.20 with level 8 or higher
Microsoft .Net 3.5 SP1 or higher
If you intend to use the Web Dynpro ABAP UI elements Network and Gantt , you need the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 1.6.11 (see http://www.java.com/downloads).
Note that 64-bit JDK is not supported.
Note the security issues described in 7 Security Aspects .
If you have already installed an older NWBC version, we recommend that you uninstall it using Add or Remove Programs (in Windows Control Panel ), and then install the current version.
