Use

You can display a user list from other servers in an SAP System using this function.

Note

To get an overview of the users logged on to a system sorted by instance, you can use transaction AL08. In this transaction the following data will be displayed:

All active instances with the current number of users

For each instance a list of the users logged on with terminal, number of sessions, and transactions currently running

Prerequisites

You are already in the user overview (screen User List ).

Procedure

Choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Terminals End of the navigation path. All users who are logged on to the SAP System are displayed together with the respective server. Position the cursor on a user, and choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Remote server. You now only see the users who are logged on the selected SAP server. End of the navigation path

Note

You switch over to the new server. You can see which server you are logged on to in the third entry in the status line on the bottom right. If you click the green arrow, or choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Back End of the navigation path, this takes you back to your old server.
