Use

You can use these functions to display the HTTP load balancing settings of the message server and to load data from the Internet Communication Framework ( ICF) to the message server.

Integration

The functions are only relevant if you are using HTTP load distribution using the SAP message server.

Recommendation

SAP recommends that you use the SAP Web Dispatcher for this.

Features

To display the list of functions, from the message server monitor choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Expert Functions Next navigation step HTTP End of the navigation path.

Display Handler

As an HTTP client, the message server is connected to all the logged on application servers that are running the ICM. The message server fetches information about the URL prefixes and logon groups so that it can redirect inbound HTTP requests to the correct server.

URL Logon Groups

The URL prefixes defined for the logon groups in transaction SICF are listed here. The logon groups are defined and maintained in transaction SMLG.

Load Groups

You can prompt the message server to load the current logon group details.

URL Prefixes

The URL prefixes defined for the services in transaction SICF are listed here. These are the URLs that are to be processed in ABAP work processes. If the message server contacts a URL that none of the prefixes match, it forwards the request to the AS Java provided it is running.

Load Prefixes

You can prompt the message server to load the current ICF prefixes.
