Use

Cache monitoring in SAP NetWeaver Administrator for PI displays objects that are currently in the runtime cache of either of the following receivers (cache instances) of cache data:

      Central and non-central Adapter Engines

      Integration Engine

      Mapping Runtime.

Business Systems with Web Service Communication

You can call the following information at any time, irrespective of the cache instance selected:

A messaging table that informs you about runtime cache updates and any problems that arose.

A status table that displays the status of the last cache update for each cache instance.

A cache connectivity test that informs you whether runtime cache updates are functioning as required.

Prerequisites

You have started the central SAP NetWeaver Administrator for PI and have chosen Cache Monitoring.

Procedure

In cache monitoring, different cache objects are monitored depending on the cache instance concerned. Selection criteria are available for each cache object; you can use these selection criteria to search for current objects in the runtime cache.

...

       1.      Select the required PI component.

       2.      Select the tab page with the required cache object.

       3.      Enter the required selection criteria.

       4.      If available, choose Advanced in the standard mode to get to the advanced mode.

       5.      If required, enter further selection criteria.

       6.      Start the search.

The system displays a table of hits. The content varies depending on the selected cache object. You can restrict the number of hits displayed in each case.

       7.      To display the detail information for an entry from the hit list, choose the corresponding row.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text
