The cache of the Advanced Adapter Engine differentiates between the following cache objects:
● Party
The system searches for communication parties.
The name of the party, the issuing agency, and the identification scheme are displayed on the detail screen.
● Communication Component
This searches for communication components with or without a party.
You can use a parameter to search in advanced mode.
If the Party field is left blank, communication components with or without a party are found and displayed. However, if you enter a blank, only communication components without a party are displayed.
The names of any authorized users are displayed on the detail screen.
● Communication Channel
This searches for communication channels.
You can use the following selection criteria in advanced mode:
○ Party
○ Communication component
○ Direction
The detail screen displays the parameters, identifiers, and attributes for the channel. You also see the modules available for each adapter.
● Sender Agreement
To search for sender agreements, you can use the following selection criteria:
○ Sender party
○ Sender communication component
○ Interface
○ Namespace
○ Receiver party
○ Receiver communication component
In the detail view you can switch to the entries for the communication channel. Here you find the agreement attributes and the authorized users. You can display the attributes a browser.
If a Web service communication is configured in the communication channel, then the assignment (including profile) and logical ports of the server configuration (provider) are also displayed.
● Receiver Agreement
When searching for receiver agreements, you use the same selection criteria as those used to search for sender agreements.
In the detail view you can switch to the entries for the communication channel. Here you find the agreement attributes and information about the header mapping. You can display the attributes a browser.
If a Web service communication is configured in the communication channel, then the assignment (including profile) and logical ports of the client configuration (consumer) are also displayed.
● Adapter Metadata
The system searches for adapter metadata. You can use the following selection criteria in advanced mode:
○ Name
○ Namespace
○ Software component
You find the adapter metadata under Attributes in the detail view. You can also call them in the browser.
