Period in a write or conversion program in which the archiving classes and their hierarchy are set, before any data is passed to the Archive Development Kit (ADK).
The initialization phase begins when the ADK function module ARCHIVE_OPEN_FOR_WRITE is called and ends the first time the ADK function module ARCHIVE_NEW_OBJECT is called.
