Use

You can display both the current values and the change history of operating system parameters in the operating system monitor.

Displaying the Operating System Parameters

...

       1.      Call the operating system monitor (more information: Operating System Monitor.)

       2.      Choose the desired instance, for which you want to display the parameters; more information about selecting the host: Selecting Operating System Data of Systems, Instances, and Hosts.

       3.      From the list of analysis views in the navigation bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Additional Functions This graphic is explained in the accompanying text System Settings.

The system displays a list for the selected instance showing the defined and currently used values of the operating system parameters.

Displaying the Operating System Parameter Changes

...

       1.      Start the operating system monitor by entering the transaction code OS06.

       2.      From the list of analysis views in the navigation bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Additional Functions This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Parameter Changes.

Note

The parameter changes are already displaying for the hosts of the local system, irrespective of which systems or instances you selected.

       3.      The system displays a list of the hosts with the date of the last change of the operating system parameters in each case. To display the change history of the operating system parameters for a host, double-click the host.

       4.      If you want to display the currently-valid values of the changed operating system parameters, select the relevant host and choose the Active Parameters button.
