Use

You can use the packing transaction functions in Repetitive Manufacturing.

You can:

 

Activities

  1. Starting from the Repetitive Manufacturing menu, choose Backflush ® HU management ® Packing in Repetitive Manufacturing.

    2. You branch to the Packing in Repetitive Manufacturing screen.

  2. Enter a material and a plant. If necessary, also enter the storage location and batch.
  3. Enter the shipping data for packing instruction determination (depending on the criteria for which you created your condition record) and enter a quantity to be packed.
  4. Choose Continue.

    5. The system displays the material as not yet packed in the first row of the table control.

  5. Proceed as specified in the section Creating a HU Proposal using the Packing Instruction .

Note

For manual fast entry, enter the material you want to pack, the plant and the quantity to be packed. Then proceed as specified in the section Creating a HU Proposal Manually .

You create an HU proposal manually if no packing instruction exists for the material, or you do not want to pack automatically.
