Submit Idea 

Use

You use this function to add a new idea to the idea pool.

Prerequisites

You need to have the required authorizations to submit ideas.

Features

When submitting an idea, you can:

·        Enter all relevant information for the new idea (for example, title and description)

Other basic information such as author and date of submission is added automatically.

The currently logged on user is automatically set as author, but you can modify this and other. attributes as required.

·        Assign an idea pool manager manually as idea owner

·        Fill fields that specify a person by selecting from your company’s user directory

·        Classify the idea according to available categories

·        Add attachments to the idea

·        View all ideas you have submitted in an overview screen

·        Submit ideas from other applications, provided they run within your company's firewall

·        Receive an e-mail notification

This feature can be enabled or disabled.

To configure idea submission, you can:

·        Configure the fields displayed on the idea submission screen

·        Define required entries for certain fields

·        Customize idea attributes

To do this, you must create new attributes in the object model.

·        Enable multiple authors

To do this, you must configure user management to allows selection of authors.
