Application Modeler 
The Application Modeler is a graphical Web Dynpro tool of the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio. It provides support when designing and implementing Web Dynpro applications. The perspective view that displays the Application Modeler is called the Diagram View. This is where the individual Web Dynpro elements are graphically displayed. You can create the elements of a Web Dynpro application using graphical means. You can also use the Application Modeler to define the navigation between the views or the view areas within a view set. For this purpose, plugs an navigation links are defined.
The Application Modeler provides support when creating and editing the different Web Dynpro elements of a Web Dynpro application. The following list of elements allows you to navigate to relevant sections:

You can create several views or view sets for a Web Dynpro application. The editing area of the Application Modeler expands automatically if there is insufficient space for the display. The Overview tab is available for very large applications. It allows you to navigate within the Application Modeler: Drag the viewer to the position where you want to edit.
Opening the Application Modeler
Procedure
Start the Application Modeler by choosing the context menu entry Edit for the Web Dynpro window name in the Web Dynpro Explorer. The subtree is as follows:

Result
The Application Modeler is opened in the right Web Dynpro perspective area. If you want to enlarge the work area of the graphical tool, double-click the Diagram View bar. The size of the Application Modeler editor is then increased so that it fills the entire Web Dynpro perspective window. To revert to the original size, double-click the Diagram View bar again.
