Use

If you want a quick overview on how to use the particular software application without practicing the steps in a tutorial, you can play the tutorial in demo mode. In the demo mode, SAP Tutor Player inputs the required data and navigates through the simulated application.

Note

A tutorial can also consist of a combination of lessons and an assessment. In this case, after the last step of the tutorial has been played, the test mode screen appears automatically.

Prerequisites

You have entered the settings required for the demo mode:

Setting

Meaning

Auto loop enabled

If this option is selected, a tutorial in demo mode is repeated from the beginning after it has finished.

Fullscreen

If this option is selected, SAP Tutor Player hides the areas on the right of the screen and the toolbar when in demo mode, and displays only the simulated application.

Note

To leave the fullscreen mode, press ESC.

Procedure

The following functions are available in the demo mode:

Start Demo Mode

The tutorial is run in demo mode.

Note

You can start the demo mode from any step.

Stop Demo Mode

The tutorial pauses at the current step.

Note

If you are in fullscreen mode, you can use Pause on the keyboard. To continue in demo mode, press Return.

Restart Tutorial

Stops the demo mode and returns to the first step of the tutorial.
