Features

You can:

Display overview of work items () and messages () (abbreviated short text)
Display detail view of messages (full short text only)
Delete messages from mobile device

Retrieve work items that have not yet been released for synchronization

Integration

After work items or messages that have been processed on a mobile device have been released for synchronization, the data is synchronized with the data in Enterprise Buyer.

Workflow items, you choose New (no._of_work_items). The link is only activated if there are work items to be processed.

Approving or rejecting work items:

Approve: When you approve an item, the next workflow item is displayed. The executed item is moved from the New folder to the Executed folder.

Reject: When you reject an item, a screen appears where you can optionally enter the reason why you rejected the item.

Retrieve: To retrieve work items that have not yet been released for synchronization, choose Retrieve.

Releasing items for synchronization:

As default executed work items are checked as to be released for synchronization.

Displaying and deleting messages

To display your messages, click New (no._of_new_messages) in the inbox main screen or choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

on the work items screens.

A list of messages is displayed. If messages have not yet been executed, the message short text is displayed as an active link. To display a message, click the link.

The detail screen for a message is displayed:

To delete a message, choose Delete. The detailed information for the next message is displayed automatically.
To return to the New messages list, choose Overview.

When there are no further messages to be executed, the Executed folder is displayed to allow you to release the executed messages for synchronization.

Example

Managers approve or reject purchases by executing work items offline during a meeting. Subsequently, they synchronize the data on their mobile devices with the data within the Enterprise Buyer system. Employees can then see in Enterprise Buyer whether their purchases have been approved or rejected.
