Searching for Bids 

Use

SAP Bidding Engine offers you a comprehensive function with which you can search for bid invitations and auctions. The search function varies according to the capacity in which you are conducting the search.

Features

As a bidder, you can search for a particular bid invitation or auction with a view to submitting a bid, or you can search for bids already created by your company. The fields available in the simple or extended search vary according to what you are searching for. 

If you are looking for a particular bid invitation or auction with a view to submitting a bid, you can conduct a simple search using:

·        Document Number

·        Name

·        Last processed

·        Status

Or you can extend the search to include:

·        Product category (additional search function provided for this)

·        Submission date

·        All bids from my company

The results of your search are displayed in a list. For each bid invitation or auction you can see the following:

Column Name	Comment
Number	Choose the number of the relevant bid invitation or auction to go to it directly to create a bid
Type	Whether it is a bid invitation or an auction
Name	Name of the bid invitation or auction.
Submission deadline or start date	Depending on whether it is a bid invitation or auction.
Status of the bid	For example, whether the bid has been submitted or a winner determined
