Plant Maintenance (Mobile Engine) 
Use
Component planners can download maintenance orders and operations to their mobile devices and process them offline on a PDA or other mobile device.
Integration
After maintenance orders and operations that have been processed in this way have been released for synchronization, the data is synchronized with the data in the backend system.
Features
Component planners can:
- Add new components to a maintenance order. Components can be chosen from a catalog.
- Display maintenance orders and operations, and components assigned to a maintenance order.
- Release completed maintenance orders and operations for synchronization.
Activities
Adding components to a maintenance order
To search for a maintenance order to which you wish to add components, specify an order number or select a time period from the dropdown list and choose Find.
A list of orders matching the search criteria is displayed in a dropdown box. Select the order you require and choose Go. The operations for the order are displayed as active links.
To display an operation, click the link.
To add components to an operation, choose
Add Materials from Catalog.
To search for an item in a catalog, enter a text and choose Find. Alternatively, you can click a browse category to obtain a list of items from a particular category.
When you have finished shopping, choose Add to Operation.
Displaying maintenance orders and operations
To display maintenance orders and operations that you have processed offline, choose Go to Executed Orders.
Releasing maintenance orders and operations for synchronization
Choose Executed Orders.
As default all executed orders are checked for synchronization. If you do not want to release all the maintenance orders for synchronization, deselect orders as required.
Choose Release for Sync.
