Navigation Area
The navigation area is the central navigation element of Work Center with the following general structure:
Accessing views of selected Work Center
Accessing general functions of selected Work Center
Accessing information and functions with reference to the selected Work Center
Depending on the roles assigned to you, specific views, functions, and links are available to you in the navigation area. If you choose a view in the navigation area, the system updates the content area accordingly. To adapt the size of the navigation area, you can increase or decrease the size of the navigation area, or show or hide it.
The navigation area is structured as follows:
Element |

Aside from this, there are specific functions available that you can execute from this view: Service maps provide additional support for specific tasks. You get additional information for the tasks in the form of figures and descriptions and can call the associated functions. |

Not all Work Centers include analyses. End of the note. |
Typical Tasks |

When you select an entry, the system displays the function or information in a new window. Your system administration can define in the Work Center roles the entries in this area for each Work Center. For more information about roles, see Access Using the Work Center. |
