Job Management
This Work Center is the central point for accessing all the necessary functions for documenting, scheduling, and monitoring background jobs.
On the one hand, it comprises of views in which you can display and edit job requests, job documentation, scheduled jobs, and job alerts. On the other you can execute typical tasks that you use often in Job Scheduling.
You have the necessary authorizations for this Work Center. For more information, see Access Using the Work Center.
A business partner is assigned to your system user.
Overview information is available to you for the following objects:
All job requests you created
All job requests you are assigned to as processor
All job requests of Job Monitoring that the system recorded in Business Process Monitoring
A list of job alerts is available to you. To specify the data selection, you can define queries and set filters. For more information, see Working with a List.
When you mark a job alert in the list, the system displays any details about the job alert below the list. Aside from this you can execute the following functions for a selected job alert:
Display alert details for a selected solution
Display a process graphic
Call the session for Business Process Monitoring
A list of job documentation is available to you. To specify the data selection, you can define queries and set filters.
When you mark job documentation in the list, the system displays any details about job documentation below the list, for example, further information about the steps.
To reach job documentation, select the job documentation and click Display. If authorized, you can edit job documentation. See Creating and Editing Job Documentation for further information.
A list of jobs scheduled with BC-XBP is available. To specify the data selection, you can define queries and set filters.
If you highlight a job in the list, the system shows job details below the list, for example, the date and time of the last job change.
A job documentation overview is available. You can execute the following functions for job documentation:
Display
Create
Copy
Delete
Create version
Aside from this you can activate or deactivate Job Monitoring and change monitoring. For more information, see Working with the Job Documentation Overview.

Creating a Job Request for a new job.
Creating a job request for a job change
Creating a job request for a job deletion
Creating job documentation
