FunctionCreating and Editing Job Documentation

 

With this function you can create and edit job documentation. You can store information for the following areas:

Prerequisites

  • You have made the necessary system settings for the Planning a Job scenario in Customizing of the SAP Solution Manager under   Configuration   Scenario-Specific Settings   Planning a Job  .

  • Depending on the scenarios you set up, you must perform the following settings:

    • You have entered the data of your system landscape in the system landscape maintenance (transaction SMSY). See Logical Components for further information.

    • You have created the business processes in the system landscape maintenance (transaction SMSY).

    • You have activated business process monitoring, to monitor background processing. For further information, see Business Process Monitoring.

    • You have set up the RFC connection to the productive system in the system landscape management (transaction SMSY).

    • You have assigned the authorizations for the BC-XBP interface and job scheduling to the RFC users.

  • You have opened the Job Documentation application.
