FunctionJob Request

 

Using this function you can create job requests for:

In addition, you can display existing job requests. For further information, see Displaying Job Requests.

A job request is based on a Service Desk message that includes job and job documentation entries.

Prerequisites

  • You have correctly configured the Service Desk in the SAP Solution Manager. You have made the corresponding Customizing settings in:

    •   SAP Solution Manager   Configuration   Scenario-Specific Settings   Service Desk  .

    •   SAP Solution Manager   Configuration   Scenario-Specific Settings   Scheduling a Job  .

  • In transaction SICF, you have activated the following services for the Job Request application:

    • WD_AGS_EJR_JOB_REQUEST_APP for job requests for creating, editing, and deleting jobs.

    • WD_AGS_EJR_JOB_REQUEST_DISPLAY for displaying existing job requests.

  • You have opened the Job Request application.

  • You have created the business partner in transaction BP.

Features

  • In transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR you can search for and view your Service Desk message.

  • There are two views for a job request:

    • Basic View: For end-users with limited experience with the SAP Solution Manager

    • Detailed View: For end-users with expert knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and job scheduling.
