Service
Desk Roles 
The following roles are delivered with SAP Solution Manager 3.20 and have to be assigned to the corresponding users in the Service Desk system:
· SAP_SOCM_CHANGE_MANAGER
The change manager is responsible for approving or rejecting change requests.
· SAP_SOCM_DEVELOPER
The developer makes corrections in the development system and releases the necessary transport requests.
· SAP_SOCM_TESTER
The tester is responsible for testing corrections in the test system to check whether they work.
· SAP_SOCM_IT_OPERATOR
The IT operator imports corrections into the production system.
· SAP_SOCM_PRODUCTION_MANAGER
The production manager decides whether corrections can be imported into the production system. In certain critical situations (such as during a payroll run), the production manager can decide not to import corrections into the production system; otherwise, the system could be rendered inconsistent.
· SAP_SOCM_REQUESTER
The requester is the person who creates change requests.
· SAP_SOCM_ADMINISTRATOR
The administrator customizes and checks all Change Request Management functions in the Solution Manager system.
