Procedure documentation Assigning and Creating Project Standards Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Prerequisites

You have the authorization S_PROJECTS to create or change status values, keywords and documentation types. You are in the project administration transaction in change mode and have selected the Project Standards tab.

Procedure

Assigning existing project standards to your project

Scenario A:

The Unused Status Values/Documentation Types or Keywords list already contains default values.

...

...

       1.      Select the entries in the Unused Status Values/Documentation Types and Keyword Catalog tables that you want to assign to your project.

       2.      Assign the selected entries to the Project Status Values/Keywords/Documentation Types list with the Assign pushbutton.

To prevent listed entries being available in the project, you can put them back in the list of unused values, with the Delete icon.

       3.      Specify whether the keywords are available in the project structure, the Roadmap or for documents, by setting or deleting the flags in the Project Structure, Roadmap and Documents columns at the left-hand side. The flag is set by default.

       4.      Save your assignments.

Creating project standards

Scenario B:

The Unused Status Values/Documentation Types or Keywords list does not yet contain default values.

...

       1.      Choose Project Template.

The dialog box contains standard lists of status values, keywords and documentation types that have been defined and are valid for the whole project administration transaction.

       2.      If there are already entries in the Project Administration Status Values/Keywords/Documentation Types list, select entries and copy them into the Project Status Values/Keywords/ Documentation Types list, with Page Left.

If there are no entries in the project template yet:

                            a.      Make new entries in the right-hand list.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

If you define new documentation types, you can give them additional attributes, for example, multiple use, or file extension.

See Editing Document Templates for further information.

                            b.      Copy the entries into the list at the left-hand side.

       3.      Save your selection.

You can now assign the standard values to your project as described in scenario A above.
