Quality Assurance (Approval)
You check the quality of your software by running tests on it in the runtime systems.

Within the track configuration, the Test runtime system has been set up for these tests.
The quality management team produces a catalog of criteria that specifies guidelines for the quality of the software.
If the new software component archive is tested successfully, you can release this archive in the Transport Studio for shipment to the production system and any following tracks. Software is approved or rejected on the Approval tab page.
You are in Transport Studio.
You have created a software component archive in the assembly step.
To release one or more software components, proceed as follows:
1. Choose the Approval tab page.
2. In the list, select the software component archives that you want to release.
3. Choose Confirm.

If you reject the software component archive by choosing Reject, then this archive is not shipped.
You have approved the shipment of one or more software component archives. These software component archives can now be deployed in the production runtime system and in the import queues of the following tracks.
