Use

You can restrict the use of room templates (adding room parts to rooms) by assigning permissions.

You can use the search function to search for user groups and portal roles in the definition of the room part template and add them to the permission list. The permission list is a comma-separated list.

The following rules are valid for using permissions for room part templates:

·        A room part template without permissions can be added to a room without restriction.

·        A room part template with permissions can only be added to a room by a user, user group, or portal role with permissions.
