Entering Investment and Equity Data in
Combined Entry
This procedure
describes how to use the combined entry function to enter investment
and equity data on a single screen. You can do this for the activities
First Consolidation,
Increase in Capitalization, and Reduction in Capitalization.
(This feature was formerly known as integrated entry.) Combined entry
automatically generates a single activity number for each pair of investment
and equity data records.
If you enter investment data and equity data separately, the system assigns different activity numbers. You then need to run matching of activity numbers afterwards.
You have enabled combined entry by selecting the Combined Entry of Investment/Equity Data option in the process view of the workbench at Consolidation Functions ® Consolidation of Investments ® Settings ® Activities.
The other prerequisites are listed in section Manual Entry of Additional Financial Data.
Use the same procedure as described for the separate entry of investment data or equity data.
