Features

Activating Manual Ordering

You have to activate manual ordering for a folder before you can order its objects manually.

In the Details dialog box for a folder, choose Settings ® Manual Ordering and then choose the Activate Manual Ordering.

Ordering Objects

To place the objects of a folder in a particular order, you move the objects in question using a popup menu.

From the popup menu of an object, choose Ordering ® Top, Up, Down, or Bottom. The commands are displayed only if manual ordering is active for the folder in question.

Effects on Sorting

When you open a folder, the system displays the objects in the order defined manually by default. If the configuration of the user interface supports it, every user can choose another sort order, such as by name or modification date.

In the standard delivery, you change sort order by clicking on the column headers or choosing View ® Sort By in the menu.
