Function documentation Activities for Elements Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

On your electronic desk, you can find all functions for individual elements (for example case or incoming post item) of the standard system under Activities or in the context menu.

You can also call these functions using the icons in the processing area of an element in the function toolbar.

The activities (functions) displayed depend on which element you are editing. The functions in the context menu and in the function toolbar can also be different.

Prerequisites

You are on the electronic desk screen in the area History.

In the case of subordinate elements such as cases in records or documents in cases, you can also call the context menu in the processing area of the super-ordinate element.

Change Status

You can only create records and cases if the record model and the model for case containers have the status Released

The process route of a case only starts if the status of the case is set to In Processing

Changing the status has no affect on the further processing for records and documents

Create Copy

Record Plan, Document, Record, Model, Model for Case Container

 

The copied element contains the same attribute values as the original. Only the short description is altered: The prefix Copy from is added
