Pushbuttons 

Use

This control displays a button for carrying out an action. The available actions are predefined.

 

Features

You can use the following actions in creation forms:

·        Save

·        Reset

·        Cancel

·        Preview

Before saving creation forms, authors can use the preview function to see a depiction of their content in lists and as a single document.

 

In addition, the following actions are available for ListEdit and ListShow forms. Note that using these forms is only recommended for special usage cases.

·        Create

Creates new entries in the ListEdit form.

·        Edit

Calls up the Edit form from the ListEdit form so that you can modify the current entry.

·        Delete

Deletes the current entry in the ListEdit form. The deletion takes place without a safety prompt. Place an appropriate warning on the button.

 

Activities

To generate pushbuttons for the creation form, choose Extras ® Create Buttons. You reach a dialog box in which you can make all necessary settings.
