Calculation Rule

Definition

In the key figure schema, you can define calculation rules for the following calculations:

• Calculation of the scores for a key figure variant
• Calculation of a formula variant

Structure

A calculation rule can consist of the parts given in the following table.

Formula Element Possible Entries Condition IF / THEN / ELSE / ELSEIF Function The following mathematical functions can be used to define formulas and results: AND OR NOT ABS - Absolute amount ** - Power ROUND – Integer rounding TRUNC – Integral part LOG - Logarithm EXP - Exponential function SQRT - Square root SIN - Sine COS - Cosine TAN - Tangent MOD - Module function DIV - Integral part of a division Opening or closing brackets Number Any number Variants (only for formula) Name of a defined variant (formula variant or key figure variant) The current value of the variants is then used for calculating the formula. Value (only for calculating scores) The current value of the variant is used to calculate the value of a score, if you enter X here or in the formula text. Operator Arithmetic signs (+, -, *, /) Relational operator Relational operator (=, <, >,<>, >=, <=) Any formula text Combination of numbers, functions or variants
