Extension Table 

Definition

The extension table is an attribute of the event handler type in which you can define your own fields that are available for search and report queries.

The extension table is found in the event handler header data. The system updates the extension table and data from the event handler header table simultaneously. System parameters are mapped from the application system into the extension table fields.

Use

The user can use the extension table fields as additional options for search and report queries about event handlers (see Reports for Internal Monitoring and Evaluation of Processes).

In a Unicode system the fields belonging to the extension table must not have numeric domains. Only use character-type data types for the domains.
