Component documentation Administration Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

To prepare SAP Business One for use at your company, you must first define information about your company in the system, using the Administration module. Such information includes currency exchange rates, authorizations and approvals, the internal mail organization, E-mail and SMS settings, data import and export functions, and much more.

Use the module to:

Specify the system setup and parameters

Perform regular maintenance functions, such as backup and restore.

     Update company and user information.

Since changes in the Administration module are not logged by the system, you must ensure that changes to user master data or table settings are logged outside the SAP Business One system.

To log such changes, create screenshots displaying the time of the change and the relevant user.

To create a screenshot of the relevant table, choose Data ® Print Preview in the table. These screenshots can be sent to other users using internal mail or E-mail.
