Use

A Command Button is a control that executes an action or causes another action in SAP Business One.

The most common command buttons in SAP Business One are Add, OK, Cancel, Update, Select All, Clear Selection, Expand, Collapse. In addition, you find command buttons in wizards, such as Next, Back, and Finish.

Add

Use to add a new record to the database. Such new records can be business partner master data, sales and purchasing documents, and so on.

OK

Use to approve a setting or a change and to close the window.

Cancel

Use to cancel an action or a change and to close the window.

Update

Use to save changed data. For example, you can update business partner or employee records, or item details.

Select All

Use to select all checkboxes in a window. The button usually appears on the Selection Criteria windows of reports.

Clear Selection

Use to deselect all selected checkboxes in a window.

Expand

Use to show more details of certain data in a window.

Collapse

Use to hide certain data in a window.

Next

In a wizard, enables you to proceed to the next window.

Back

In a wizard, enables you to return to the previous window.

Finish

In a wizard, enables you to finish entering data and to complete or exit the wizard.
